Mrs. C. Hoar, Former City Nurse, Dies
An active community and church worker in Lethbndge for a number of years, Mrs. Catherine Hoar died Sunday at the age of 71 years.
She was a former member of Southmmster Church choir and of a number of church groups. In addition, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Hoar had done nursing in Lethbndge f'rom 1933 to 1948 and had lived in Alberta since 1922 She resided at 503 12th St. S. Born in Winnipeg, she married Archibald Hoar here in 1916. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Mrs. E. R. McFarland of Lethbridge; brothers John Dunn and James Dunn of Winnipeg; sisters Mrs. J. H. Philion of Saskatoon, Mrs. F. Morley of Eegina and Miss Mary Dunn of Winnipeg, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesdav at 2 p.m. in Martin Bros, chapel with Rev. H. A.
Frame, DD, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View cemetery.
