      Published: Friday, October 13, 1916, Ukiah, California
      Mrs. R. J. Horr, who passed away
      last Thursday at the ago of 80 years,
      was laid to rest In the local cemetery
      Saturday. Mrs. Horr, whose maiden
      name was Sarah Ann Parish, wa.s born
      in Ohio April 27, 1836, and crossed the
      plains with her parents in 1849.
      At the age of 16 she married Wiiliam
      Freeman. To this marriage twelve
      children were born, six of whom are
      now living, William Freeman of
      Eureka; Robert Freeman of San Francisco;
      Lewis Freeman of Mendocino;
      Edward Freeman of Ukiaih; Mrs, F. C.
      Deyoe of Uklah, and Mrs. Charles
      Majory of Eureka.
      Mr. Freeman passed away in 1889
      and in 1903 his widow married R. J.
      Horr. Since their marriage Mr. and
      Mrs. Horr had made their home here
      and In Santa Rosa.
