  BPG; H&H12; BPB,p.1262.9/1; of Annabella, nr Mallow, Cork, Ireland. A lawyer + and barrister. He inherited the family estates, being the only surviving son. + He was M.P. for Askeaton, Limerick (1761-1801), finally attending Parliament + when quite blind at 93 years to vote against the Union. He was Advising Counsel + at Dublin Castle, and for his services was created Baronet in 1784. He is + buried in the family vault at St Mary's Shandon, Cork.
