RICHMOND, Ind. - Phyllis Eileen Vanlandingham, 76, of Richmond ,died May 3, 2011, at Ambassador Health Care.
She was born Jan. 12, 1935, in Hillsboro, Ohio, to Elmer D. and Mabel Marie Michael Horr and lived in Richmond most of her life.
She formerly owned George's Cleaning Service with her husband and formerly worked at Pinehurst Village. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three children, Loretta (Stan) Whalen of Tipp City, Ohio, Alice (Jim) Davis of Laura, Ohio, and Jan (Michael) Davis of Richmond; three stepchildren, Debbie (Herbie) Ponder of Richmond, Phyllis (Rodney) Boone of Greens Fork, and Roger Coffel of Richmond; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Ronald Horr of Greens Fork, Patricia (Ronnie) Gellinger of Cambridge City, Beverly Stuart of Cambridge City, Nancy Cooper of Richmond, Betty (Gene) Jacoby of Cambridge City, and Margaret Horr of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George in 2006; one daughter, Joan Miller; her parents; and three brothers, James, Arthur and Rodney Horr.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr funeral Home with Pastor John Maples officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
