Frank Arthur Hoar, 80, of Besaw Road died Wednesday at the home of his daughter in the town of Mexico.
A native of Liverpool, Mr. Hoar lived in the Phoenix area since 1969. He retired as a chemical engineer from Bristol-Myers & Squibb Co. Mr. Hoar was a 1934 graduate of Syracuse University.
Mr. Hoar was a member of Fulton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and served as minister to Kingdom Halls in Fulton, Oswego and Central Square.
Surviving are his wife, the former Wilda Bailey; four daughters, Phyllis Smith of Brooklyn, Donna James and Robyn Abbott, both of Phoenix, and Cheryl Ladd of Mexico; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a nephew.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fulton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Route 48. Spring burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix.
