  H&H28; His name appears to be Edward Arthur (as he signs himself in 'Hore and + Hoare', although he lists himself within simply as 'Edward'. Born at 92(former + number) Grand Parade, Cork, Ireland. Educated at Trinity College, Dublin. A + soldier in the North Cork County Rifle Regiment of Militia; + Lieutenant(1846),Captain(1855),retired 1864. Published a book of poems entitled + 'Solitary Moments'(Longmans,1840), and several antiquarian and numismatic + works. The author of the family genealogy 'Hore and Hoare'. BLC; lists 7 works + under his name on copper coins, some archaeology, even 'Solitary Moments, Poems + on various subjects and occasions'(1877).
