      Francis K. Hoar: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice

      Deceased Name: Francis K. Hoar
      Francis K. Hoar, 68, of Centennial Lane, Daytona Beach, Fla., and formerly of this city, died Friday at Halifax Medical Center in Florida. He was a construction engineer for the city and worked for the Holyoke Gas & Electric Department. He retired in 1979. Born here, he attended Holyoke Community College and belonged to the Holyoke Kennel Club and the Daytona Beach Obedience Club. He leaves his wife, the former Diane Fay; a daughter, Deborah Hoar of Holyoke; two brothers, John Jr. of Holyoke and James B. of Southampton; and two sisters, Mary Armata of South Windsor, Conn., and Carol Durocher of Brewster. Volusia County Cremation Society is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to any humane or conservation society.
