In Gouverneur, N.Y., Jan 15th, 1883, Florence, daughter of A.S. and Ella Whitney, aged eight years. She had a light attack of scarlet fever Christmas week, from which she recovered. Inflammation of the kidneys set in about a week since and she died last Monday. She was a great sufferer for the last few days prior to her death.
