  [[ Obituary: Star Tribune: Newspaper of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis, MN) - May 31, 2011 Deceased Name: Bresley, Betty Bresley, Betty, Age 85, of Bloomington, passed away on May 28, 2011 after a long struggle with Dementia. Preceded in death by husband, Milo; granddaughter, Elizabeth Skogland; parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers. Born in Oakes, ND on Sept 12, 1925 to Mel and Mabel (S)Hoar. Betty attended Northwestern Nursing School with a few years working there and as an Air Force Nurse. She also enjoyed volunteering at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, cheering on the Vikings & Twins and was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mom, and Nana. Her spontaneous laugh & sarcastic humor provided many special memories. We will miss her. Survived by children, Barb (Todd) Skogland, Bill (Kim), Tom; grandkids, Mike (Morgan) Skogland, Jeff & Jay Skogland, Amy, Jennifer, Eli, Aaron, Noah, Jonah, Abi, Caleb, Gideon; great-grandsons, Brooks & Barrett Skogland; and many other friends and relatives. Memorial service Tuesday, May 31, 2 PM at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, 2200 W. Old Shakopee Rd, Bloomington, 55431, 952-888-4621. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the church.
