Deceased Name: DOROTHEA H. MARRIER, 84, LEAVES 69 DESCENDANTS
WEBSTER -- Dorothea H. (Norman) Marrier, 84, of Golden Heights, died Monday, April 24, at the Hospice of Central Massachusetts, Judith Road, Worcester.
Her husband, Edward C. Marrier, died in 1957. She leaves five sons, Edward E. Marrier of Abington, George A. Marrier and Luther F. Marrier, both of Webster, Arthur R. Marrier of Bellingham, and Robert A. Marrier of New Port Richey, Fla.; a daughter, Janice M. Moriarty of Woodstock, Conn.; a brother, Luther Norman of New Bedford; three sisters, Viola Hoar of New Bedford, Ethel Emmett of New Bedford and Anita Cook of Oklahoma; 27 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; nephews and nieces. She was born in New Bedford, daughter of Percy and Dora (Pauquette) Norman, and lived in Webster for the past 60 years.
Mrs. Marrier worked as a housekeeper in the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, and retired in 1981. She was a member of St. Louis Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday, April 27, from Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church, Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Mass., Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.
