Deceased Name: THOMAS H. MERZ
THOMAS H. MERZ, 65, died Tuesday at Parkview Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a Realtor for 30 years, worked at Final Coat Painting for six years and was also employed by Sycamore Hills Golf Course. He was a veteran and past president of Fort Wayne Home Builders Association. Surviving are his wife, Sue; two sons, Steve T. and John C., both of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Kris L. Markham and Amy M. Westendorf, both of Fort Wayne; a brother, Stephen of St. Louis; two sisters, Sheila Panyard of Syracuse, N.Y., and Martha Hoar of New Haven; and 13 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, with calling one hour before services. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with vigil at 8:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Riley Children's Hospital or Make-A-Wish of Indiana Inc.
