  Cemetery: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=62663786 [[ Obituary: Harold Hazen Hoar, 84, son of Fredrick Adair and Anna Mae Hoar, was born Dec. 4, 1921, at Byrdton, Va. He died March 11, 2006, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. A resident of the Elk Creek community, he was a farmer, plumber, truck driver, carpenter, cabinet maker and contractor. He enjoyed telling stories of past experiences and loved gardening and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Evelyn Anderson. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Mabel Sigman Hoar; two sons, Harold Lee Hoar and William Adair Hoar of Elk Creek; adopted daughter, Debbie Carter of Cabool; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services were March 15 at the Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home Chapel in Cabool with the Rev. Orval Gayer officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery at Elk Creek.
