      CRANSTON --- George G. Horr, 89, of Meredith Drive, a teacher for more than 30 years in Latin, French, and history at St. Dunstan's School, and Moses Brown School, both in Providence, before retiring in 1973, died yesterday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Esther M. (Straub) Horr.
      Born in South Portland, Maine, a son of the late Walter F. and Matilda G. (Davidson) Horr, he lived in Cranston for more than 50 years.
      Mr. Horr was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Providence. He was an amateur artist, and had participated in the Wickford Art Show.
      Besides his wife he leaves two brothers, Wilbur Horr of Ayer, Mass., and James E. Horr of Deltona, Fla.
      A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Broad Street.
