      Ella May Wells Pelkey, 90 and a resident of Seneca Hill Manor died Thursday, March 10, 2005 in the Oswego Hospital.
      She was born in Volney and was the daughter of the late Edward R. and Mabel M Horr Wells.
      She was the wife of Harold Pelkey of Oswego, they were married on September 9, 1949.
      Mrs. Pelkey had been employed for many years as a seamstress at Odstead Manufacturing and Conn Knitting Mill.
      She enjoyed Knitting, crocheting and sewing.
      She was member of the Oswego City Senior Citizens, First United Methodist Church and had been a Crossing Guard with the Oswego City School District for ten years.
      In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters Carol Ann Pelkey and Luella Marie Parsons both of Oswego, one son Kevin Pelkey of St. Charles, Missouri., 2 brothers Richard Wells of Oswego and Edwin Wells of Phoenix, one sister Florence L. Murray of Oswego, 3 grandchildren Ralph Parsons, Marie Parson and Bailey Pelkey, 2 great grandchildren Dustin Parsons and Brendan Fantom, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
      Funeral services will be held Monday 9 a.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with Rev. Holly Eden officiating. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 112 East Second St.
