      Michael Joseph "Beaver" Hoar, 45, died Saturday afternoon, Feb. 18, 2006, at St. James Healthcare.
      He was born in Butte on Aug. 22, 1961, to Leonard and Eunice (Hampton) Hoar. Michael worked as a mechanic for T&T Auto Repair and also as a foreman/weed sprayer for Pioneer Weed. He enjoyed fishing, riding in his dune buggy, camping at Toston and spending time with family and friends.
      Michael was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Shayne Parks, Melville Hoar, Bella Boyde and infant, Leonard Hoar Jr.
      He is survived by his wife, Wendy (Holms) Hoar of Butte; sons, Michael Eugene Hoar, and Brandon Herrera of Butte, Shane Hoar of Chicago; brothers and sisters, Nita Parks of Big Arm, Ben Pascoe and his wife Margie of Butte, Liz Hipp and her husband John of Polson, Doris Pascoe of Portland, Leonard Hoar III of Williamsburg, and Thomas Hoar of Butte; and his faithful companion, his dog, Shanty.
      Michael's remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home, where friends may call beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
