      MILTON -- Margaret M. Hoar, 79, of Milton, a retired clerk, died Wednesday at Milton Hospital.
      Miss Hoar worked 36 years for Hale & Dorr. She retired in 1986.
      She was born in Boston and lived in Milton for 70 years. She was a graduate of Milton High School.
      Miss Hoar is survived by a brother, Edward J. Hoar of Weymouth; and a nephew and niece, Michael E. Hart of Kingston and Patricia A. Lazdowsky of Mansfield.
      A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Agatha's Church. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
      Visiting is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
      Donations may be made to charity.
