      Mr. Wayne Hoard, age 75, of 87 Clinton Street, Salamanca, New York died Monday, October 20, 2008 at Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo, New York.
      Born on January 16, 1933 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Arthur and Leona Hoard. He had been married to the former Jacklyn Beals, Salamanca, New York who survives
      Mr. Hoard was a Veteran of the United States Navy Seebees serving in Korea.
      He was the Plant Manager for Fibercel, Portville, New York, Bush Industries, Little Valley, New York, Salco and Fancher Furniture Company, both of Salamanca, New York.
      Surviving are: 4 sons, Mr. Scott Hoard, Salamanca, New York, Mr. Michael Hoard,Salamanca, New York, Mr. Jack Hoard, Olean, New York, Mr. Larry Hoard, Salamanca, New York; 1 daughter, Jaimee Hoard, Salamanca, New York; 6 grandchildren; 1 brother, Mr. Lyn Hoard, Apple Valley, California; several nieces and nephews.
      There will be no visitation.
      A memorial service will be held in the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Saturday (October 25, 2008) at 1<:00> PM with pastor Donald Acker, of the House of Prayer officiating.
      Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
