      Deceased Name: Mary Lou Carroll Fonner
      Dallas United Methodist Church member
      Mary Lou Carroll Fonner, 73, of Dallas, W.Va., died Thursday, May 24, 2007, in her son's home.
      She was born January 22, 1934, in West Finley, a daughter of John Sr. and Margaret "Peg" Horr Carroll.
      She was a member of Dallas United Methodist Church.
      Mrs. Fonner was a 1953 graduate of West Alexander High School and was a homemaker.
      She was a member of the Dallas Lions Club, Dallas Senior Citizens, Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 656, West Alexander and the Bunko Club.
      Mrs. Fonner enjoyed spending time with her family, auctions and talking with her many friends.
      Her husband, Norman Fonner, died August 30, 1995.
      Surviving are two sons, Jerry (Laura) Fonner of Dallas and Terry (Cheryl) Fonner of Carmichaels; a daughter, Mrs. Randy (Peggy Ann) Whiteley of Belmont, Ohio; a brother, John (Emily) Carroll of Cleveland, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
      Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a brother, Jim Carroll; twin children who died as newborns; and two great-grandchildren.
      Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Michael H. Heinrich Funeral Home, 101 Main Street, West Alexander, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, with the Rev. Ted Boggs officiating. Interment in Mount View Cemetery, Dallas.
