She was a substitute teacher in several Hillsdale County schools prior to her retirement last year, was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Hillsdale and a volunteer of the Community Service Center. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Dennis, and two daughters, Sylvia and Stephanie Hoard. Arrangements are by VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home, 40 S. Manning, Hillsdale.
