  [[ Obituary: Midland Daily News (MI) - September 30, 2008 Deceased Name: Karen A. Mills-Flinchum Karen A. Mills-Flinchum, 63, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at her home in Eden, N.C. She was born on May 19, 1945, in Saginaw County to George and Irene (Hoard) Pretzer. She married James C. Mills on Oct. 12, 1962, in Midland County. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1985. Karen, a former resident of Midland and the Reed City area, had recently moved to North Carolina with her husband Troy Flinchum. They were married May 10, 2007. She is survived by her husband Troy of Eden, N.C.; her sons, Lonny (Brenda) Mills of Midland and Scott (Tammy) Mills of Falkville, Ala.; her daughter, Lori (Darrell) Elder of Evart; her stepchildren, Melody (Tom) Knox family of Maryland, Todd Flinchum of California and Christopher Flinchum of Ohio; her brother, Galen (Deb) Pretzer; her sisters, Doris (Pete) Januskiewicz and Doreen (Walt) Henning; and eight grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Joel Mills, C.J., Casey and Kelsey Elder and Noah and Andrew Mills. Memorial Services were held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, in Eden, N. She will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery, Reed City.
