  [[ Obituary: Eileen E. Krotec Shaler Township Eileen E. Krotec, 80, of Shaler Township, died Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011, at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Richland Township. She was born Oct. 25, 1930, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John A. Larbig and Nora C. Hoar. A homemaker, Eileen was a member of St. Sebastian Church, Ross Township. She is survived by three children, Karen (Cliff) Zielinski, of Sewickley, Mark J. (Lisa) Krotec, of Shaler Township, and Dr. Kristine (Paul) Krotec Skiba, of Maryland; one sister, Margaret Larbig Hejnosz, of O'Hara Township; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joseph M. Krotec, whom she married June 16, 1951, and died Feb. 23, 2004; and six brothers and sisters. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the ELOISE B. KYPER FUNERAL HOME, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. at Mt. Royal Cemetery. A funeral prayer will be offered at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. St. Sebastian Church, 311 Siebert Road, Ross Township. Burial in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler Township. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Sebastian Church, 311 Siebert Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
