  Obituary: Published in Chicago Tribune on May 31, 2012 Sister Elizabeth Hegarty, SSND, age 94, May 26, 2012. Member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame for 73 years. Served in Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois for 62 years as a Teacher and Librarian and four years as a Minister of Prayer and Presence at Academy of Our Lady and seven years at Resurrection Life Center. Beloved daughter of the late Dennis and the late Edith Elizabeth (nee Hoar) Hegarty; dear sister of one deceased sister and two deceased brothers; loving aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews; faithful friend to countless people. Visitation Friday, June 1 at Resurrection Life Center, 7370 W. Talcott, Chicago, IL from 1 until 2 p.m. and at Divine Savior Church, 7750 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge, IL. from 3 p.m. until wake service at 6 p.m. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 p.m. Interment Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
