MARY I. HOAR, 86, of Log Road, a confidential stenographer for Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing Co., North Kingstown for 40 years retiring in 1973, died Nov. 12 at the Hebert Nursing Home, Smithfield. She was the widow of William F. Hoar Jr.
Born inProvidence, a daughter of the late George C.F. and Mary L. (McCauley) Prosser, she had lived in Smithfield for several years and before that in North Providence.
She leaves a sister, Helen E. Gaudet of Smithfield.A graveside service will be heldSaturday at 11 a.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, Pleasant Street, Pawtucket.
