KOWALSKY, Charles W.
Charles W. Kowalsky, 85, of Glastonbury beloved husband of 58 years to Marie (Hoar) Kowalsky died Monday, (December 20, 2004) at Hartford Hospital. He was born November 23, 1919 in Glastonbury son of the late Charles W. and Emma (Bogli) Kowalsky and had been a lifelong resident. Mr. Kowalsky was a US Army veteran having served during World War II. Prior to his retirement he was employed with the Royal Typewriter Company for over 23 years. Mr. Kowalsky enjoyed attending country fairs all over New England. Besides his loving wife Marie he is survived by two daughters, Ellen Viele and her husband, Rich of Hebron, and Darlene Sines and her husband, Kris of Bolton; two grandsons, Richard Viele and his wife, Amber and Joseph Viele and his wife Lisa; two great granddaughters, Ruthie and Britney Viele and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Mr. Kowalsky was predeceased by a son. Charles W. Kowalsky III. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 24, at 11 a.m. in Bolton Center Cemetery, Bolton. Calling hours will be Thursday, Dec. 23, 6-8 p.m. at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church Building Fund, 361 Beaumont Highway, Lebanon, CT. 06249
